Hi all, Apologies for the random topic. I have had two questions recently, after getting back to TA. The first is that, when attacking an enemy, after first tapping it, it does the critical %, and HP. I thought the HP were the HP of the enemy, especially since it decreases after subsequent hits. However, if I change weapon from ranged to close combat, both values change as well. Why does the HP value change? What does it mean? How am I meant to read that? Also, in one of the missions I played today, I had Xenos spawning on the other side of a set of closed doors. I thought I was safe, but what was my surprise when during their turn the Xeno moved on top of the door, and then crossed it. Am I missing something? What's the story for this? Or is it a bug? Finally, on the Xeno spawn points, are they random, are they fixed areas in the map, or are they always marked as different cells in the map? I know some come from the holes in the ground, but I've had some spawn in a hallway, between two of my Templars who were back to back, with a stretch of three or four squares in between them, no other accesses. Is this the way it's meant to be? Just want to know what to expect Finally, happy Thanksgiving everyone! Cheers.

pjft great questions When in combat, when you tap on an enemy with a ranged weapon, the first tap highlights all the enemies available to hit (each targeted with a target reticule). Unfortunately the HP value shown may not be from the Xeno closest to you. When you go to melee, it targets the Xeno in front of you. This Xeno may have a different amount of HP compared to the ranged Xeno. For the Xenos going through closed doors, yeah, this is a bug. Report it. I've seen a number of these and have tried to report them when I can, but sometimes I miss stuffs - and like killing Xenos anyway. For Spawn points, they aren't random, they are fixed. Most are marked as holes in the ground, but they aren't always spawning there. They are fixed spots though - and it is random as to whether they actually generate a Xeno in a given turn or not. Think of the Xenos coming from no hole in the ground as dropping from the ceiling - think Aliens!

Hi slayernz, and thanks for the prompt answers!
It seems that the HP value is, indeed, what I thought it would be - and the scenario you describe is very likely what's happening, with multiple Xenos beyond targeted.
As for the doors, I asked because it could be that they were just broken doors but still had a gap that allowed the Xenos to go through. You never know:) I'll report it then.
Finally, the spawn points explanation makes sense, thanks!
Thanks for your answers, and Vae Victis:)
