Hi there, everyone. I am new to this forum and am absolutely with my newly purchased copy of Templar Assault Elite for the Android. It is by far the best turn-based squad level combat game out for the Android. I'm obsessed!
I have a few questions, though, that I did not find answers to in the manual.
1. In one place on this forum, I found it stated that no more than 4 Templars may be active in any given mission, but in another place I found a statement that up to 8 could be deployed on a mission. I could not find a clear answer in the manual (maybe I missed it?). Based on gameplay, it seems like I can only deploy 4 at a time-is there some way to increase this cap, or does it always remain at 4?
2. In the tutorial, the wargear I purchased seemed to remain active for the whole campaign after only one purchase. However, in other campaigns, I am finding that I need to purchase the same wargear for each mission, and that after it is used once, it disappears? Is that correct, or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance for your help!

starscoundrel72 - welcome to the forum and thank you! We hope you'll leave a review on your market! 1. With the existing campaigns, only 4 Templars can be deployed on a mission. Raising that cap was something we had hope to achieve, but is now for Templar Assault 2. 2. Wargear, once activated, is only used during a single mission. If active, at the end of a successful mission, it is removed from your inventory. Can you tell me which level / wargear you had that was not being removed during the tutorial and I can try to resolve? Thank you for your great post! We've been leaking TA2 screenshots to our Patreon, so you might consider joining up!

AA- thank you!
fallen- thanks for your quick reply. Did not know that there was a TA2 in the works. Great news! I hope it will be available on Android platforms.
I am not certain about exactly which tutorial missions exhibited the issue, but I know that I only bought the extra ammo wargear option once, and it remained active for at least the last three missions. Will try it again and see if I get the same results.
Thanks!

Just want to point out that you don't need an actual credit card, just a bank card, endorsed by a major provider like Visa or MasterCard. It was harder to do the redtape for kickstarter than it was to go patreon.

Brutus AureliusI don't know what country you are in, but in Sweden you can get a prepaid VISA gift card. this is the USA link. usa.visa.com/personal/personal-cards/gift-cards/index.jspYou go to one of many stores here, and plunk down your cash, and they hand you a gift card with that much cash on it. The idea is that you give this as a christmas gift to somebody else, but you can use it to get paid content on your phone via amazon or google play, and probably apple's app store as well, though I haven't tried that.

Make sure you read the instructions for 'online paying' for whatever country you are in. You may have to register the card at Visa's website. You just make up an address and then use this when the online merchant asks for your address. Visa doesn't care if it is a real address or not, it is just that the merchant has to get a match or the purchase will be declined. But make sure that it is the correct format for the country and state/province/whatever you are in. Saying you are Beelzebub Demon from Hell, OK 66666 sounds like a fine idea until somebody's smart credit card checker detects that 66666 isn't a valid Oklahoma postal zone code or something. In Sweden we don't register this thing.
Something to know -- you cannot add more money to your gift card. When it is gone, it is gone. So if you wanted to use your gift card to become a TB Patreon, you will have to keep changing your credit card information on the Patreon site. The site is set up so that you can add new cards, so it's just a little tedious to keep doing this -- unless you want to tie up a largish sum of money onto your gift card and have it dribble out slowly, which most people don't want to do.

Sorry for invading, but it just occurred to me that you're either a widely looked-for criminal or just want to stay off the grid...
Using non-traceable (or at least hard-to) payment methods for even small things, using the Google account of a person you're in a relationship with, or using techniques to make hard-to-trace things even harder to trace...
Makes me grin.
