So, after that infuriating fight that had me waste scrolls on characters that get pulled out of the fight and a huge drain on my supplies and many death's, we kill the same 2 bosses we already defeated, get tossed by the final boss, and then dumped in a pit we can't leave with no loot, no shops and no where to wander? Weak...
Or did I do something wrong?

Sorry you didn't like it. I thought it was pretty epic. I just barely managed to survive the battle with no deaths, so it is possible. Sure we didn't get to kill the main boss (but we've been doing lots of that, haven't we?). That just sets it up for an even more epic ending in episode 4. We discovered a foe that's far more powerful than the shriveled up old God's we've trounced so far. I also like the battle a lot. It totally changed the fight and made me have to rethink my strategies. I can see though that depending on how you've built your group it could be a more or less painful set-up. I was left with what I would consider my two weakest characters, but fortunately we had already taken out one Lord and all of his minions and the other one did even attack until after that happened. When the third was taken I was about ready to kill the TB's but the suspense only lasted for so long.
I do agree that getting dropped in the pit is not so cool, especially since it could be a long time until E4 comes out. Even if there was nothing new to do, but we made it back to town it wouldn't feel so bad, but then there would still be nothing new to do.

I was attacked by both lords straight away, spent most of the fight back pedaling because varys kept getting killed. I think I killed 2 minions before I managed to kill the lords so I didn't even get the exp from them. Not my favorite part of the game
Was really looking forward to seeing what kind of crazy loot we might get from after that battle... Was a real disappointment

murso74 - sorry that you did not enjoy the ending of Episode 3! There were similar disappointments with the ending of E1 and E2 that we've heard about the forum and through email. We're sorry that you're stuck in a cage at end, but its the nature of writing the story episodically. Due to the world changes in the E4 landscape, we can't just let you back out at the moment.

The story was good, I think it's the lack of reward for the hard work that I regret

Fallen,
As I have posted on here and Google Play reviews, this is one of the BEST games I have ever played indie or not... Especially that can be played "on the go!" I continue to believe that and will champion it as such. However, in the interest of giving you guys the feedback I think you are looking for from these forms to improve in the future, I will tell you where I think Ep3 falls short, especially in comparison to the others. I love the continued plot line and expanded foes/loot (though I wouldn't mind a store or two). The at and mechanics and challenge are still superb TB style... It's just a rather one dimensional episode... Makes it feel like a single scene and wondering where the rest of the Act is. Episode 2 has so many different new towns/locals each with their own missions/quests around them... Makes it seem so much bigger than just the CoD regardless of the number of screens/dungeons in it.
Again, still LOVE the game, just my .02, and hope it can help you be even more successful in the future because I look forward to playing TB games for years to come!

crimsonshadow - of course, thanks for the feedback. When Episode 2 was first released, it had only 17 dungeons where Episode 3 was released with 20. In E2, there were two "major scenes" if you want to look at them that way (Orcin caverns, Underforge). Months of additional development, and a release of E2A2 rounded out the episode. I understand the feedback comparing E2 and E3, but I don't think it takes into account the development cycle. Also, E2 was an intentional "world opener" episode where E3 was a "focus point" episode, so it is the different nature of the Episodes.

Excuse me, I just managed to kill the 2 seer lords then I was dumped into the pit and I cannot leave it now. Do I have to wait for Episode 4 to come out?

@impatient- unfortunately yes, Episode 4 is in the works and will be released soon (hopefully) TB Games won't do ETAs but sit tight, maybe start a new group?

En1gma, thanks that is the answer I would like to hear. I did not find any announcement and I was worrying that was a game crash. I really enjoy this game, love the story and I would wait to see what happen next...hmm...maybe I try nightmare mode at the moment...

@impatient - sorry for the holding pen. That is completely expected tho and not a crash game at all. We are working diligently on springing all of our players who are stuck there. Def try some other groups or difficulties while you wait!

I think Tamilin fainted on the beginning of last fight. She should have totally took Rabiel's example and say something like "Oh, no, Seer Lord. We did not came for her life. We totally came here after your and your wretched companions."
