It would be much easier to find a specific item if you could sort the list by name or item type and name.
Perhaps with small icons above the list so that you can directly jump to the first entry.

There's already a number of topics on the matter of inventory optimization.
I can't find the heart to dig through and cleanup my inventory yet... >.< but I'll have to, soon, it already takes several seconds to scroll through.

It's definitely on the to-do list for HoS ...
* Grouping of item types
* Stacking of identical items
* Being able to sell multiple items (without it automatically scroll to the top)
No ETA though.
