This is awesome. You now have 2 games live on steam with ST approved as well. Really starting to build a brand on PC

How do you do that? I know two people who might enjoy it, but the only thing I know about steam is that it exists and has cheap games. I don't know anything about how to use it.

khamya9 - if you go the market, you can add the game to your cart, and then it will ask if you want to buy it for yourself or buy it for someone else. If you buy it for someone else, then if you know their Steam username, you can "Gift" the game. ( CdrPlatypus might have a clearer explanation...)

khamya9 First you will have to make a steam account if you don't have one and download the steam client onto your computer then launch it log in and search the store for Star Traders 4X Empire in Exile. To gift it you have to have the recipients steam username so ask your friends for there usernames then friend them. Then when you buy a copy select gift and select your friends username from the list.

As a note, I believe you can do all this without download the Steam client -- their web store is fully functional in this regard as far as I can tell.

Cool thanks, I'll try to borrow a computer tonight and try this. Will report back tomorrow! Hi. You don't need your friends username to gift to them; just their email address, and Steam will contact them with the necessary information. This means you can surprise them without them getting suspicious.

But I did figure out how to use the store version even though the punk hasn't replied to my email. and I *think* I know which address he uses, so I'll try that idea if he doesn't get back to me soon.
