Hello, I've been playing this RPG leisurely for about a year now. I'm trying to get into episode three, but I can't seem to get access into the dead place. Every time I try to go there from either side of the map, the damn guards tells my group that I need permission from the higher ups to enter. But when I talk to the higher ups (on both sides) they tell me to go and that episode 3 is on the way (even though it's been out for some time). I've cleared EVERYTHING on the map, even the optional quests. I've even double and triple checked every area on the map. My average party level is 27.5 and the only quests I have left are the 1.) search for rabial (think I spelled it wrong) in the eastern underdeep. 2.) gather in brunehorn in (done multiple times!!!!!) and 3.) look out for other gods. I have a iphone and the version is 2.2.41. Please help me!!!!!!

Welcome to the forum, dragoongt! Have you gone to the inn on the side that you're supporting? Once you go to the inn and make your decision, you should be able to go to the base camp and start the episode. It looks like you really need to update your version of HoS, I'm not sure what the latest update available for ios is, but this seems like the issue here |

Yes, I must've went into the inns of every town I've been in while I was back tracking. And it still wouldn't give me any options to go into the dead city.

Good luck  Let us know if that works! It's going to be a whole new world for you- so many quality of life improvements...Make sure you check out the fast-move option, as well as the auto-buff function |

Yup, updating did the trick. Decided to side with brayers (probably spelled it wrong) because they gave my tank a nice looking shield. That auto buff sure does make it easy for Tam to get her crit up to 40% within a pinch
