Ok, I knew there are knuckle blade cyberwares, and there was already a suggestion for taser implants ... but I think I've came up with a completely different but feasable non-lethal (well, mostly) weapon: the needler wrist implant. Basically, it's a wrist-implanted collection and synthesis compartment that constructs hundreds of nano-needles, laced with condensed histamines naturally produced by one's immune system. When triggered by an implanted neural relay, it uses a silent burst of compressed air to launch a cluster of these barely visible darts into a target, which are quickly absorbed into any flesh they come in contact with, causing a powerful allergic reaction that can incapacitate even the healthiest person, or kill weaker/smaller biological targets like hunds. Ideally, this weapon would be best used at short range, but is at least partially effective at mid range as well.

jwc - great first post, and welcome to the forum! Great idea for a new type of cyber weapon, I've added it to our list!

Thanks fallen, glad you think so! I got the idea because my own histamines incapacitate me pretty often, so while I was playing earlier I thought "Hey, this would make a great non-lethal weapon!"

jwc - its also a great weapon that would have very little or no effect on armored targets.

Maybe make it relatively cheap so you can use it while you're still in gangland?

jwc - its also a great weapon that would have very little or no effect on armored targets. Yeah, that would be the biggest drawback, no way it could cut through hardened armor... Unless a higher version uses pistol rounds to project them at a higher velocity, but that would also increase their lethality too. I was thinking the inital model should be cheap, perhaps about the cost of a light taser?
