You must have been really tired when you wrote this:
With some investment, I could pay to have some updates installed here. (This barely makes sense.) How about? Time for some home improvements! With a little investment, I could make much better use of this safehouse.
For 25,000 credits ... s/a in-house/an in-house/ s/my team and I/my team and me/
... but the whole sentence klunks.
Try: For 25,000 credits I could install a personal medical clinic. This would function just like any other doctor's clinic (but would be free of charge for me).
Except that my clinic seems to be broken. It is not healing me. It is offering to do so for a price. It is not offering to remove any implants, either, or clear neurocrypts.

Entering the safehouse again, and I get offered to get a neurocrypt cleared and healed. Implant removal is not to be done at home, though still. And the home clinic charges me money, which I think is a crime ...

grävling - you can get your neurocrypt dealt with at the home clinic, and heal your HP, but you cannot remove cyberware. The $$ is for the supplies for your clinic - very important. I will work on improving the labels, thanks for the feedback. I was pretty wiped when I was finishing those last night.

grävling - you are creating new clinics ... I would think this is worth the money. If we get other unhappy feedback about it, we could reduce the sticker price, but the clinic supplies will always cost $. So far, all positive feedback from the field.

It's not so much unhappy feedback as, well, why would I want to spend 25,000 Yen on such a thing? I'd rather just use the medkit and walk or taxi to a clinic unless it saves me a lot of cash, saving the 25,000 for other things.

grävling - perhaps it is a play style difference. Medkits are very expensive and clunky to keep your team healthy, and using 9 HP medkits on all my team members is prohibitively expensive. Whenever I use a clinic, every team member is maxed. The ability to add new clinics to the city, at convenient locations for my job routes and at my home bases was game changing. But, we all play very differently.

But, we all play very differently. Clearly playstyles are different, but I am quite astonished that your Knights were not already pleased with the availability of existing clinics, abundantly located all over town. From my point of view, there is very little difference between 'walk or take taxi to clinic, heal' and 'walk or take taxi to safehouse, heal'. I only carry a few heal-to-6-point cheapest medkits, for the rare times things go terribly wrong (and 1 nano-ready kit per team member wearing nano-ready armour, which typically never gets used at all by me, but are just there for insurance.) I don't think that I would be willing to pay even 2000 Yen in order to place one in the location of my choice -- even if I could put one in Mars Core, which would, I admit, be a useful place to have one. But no safehouses there, so no joy. Where have you put yours? Maybe I am missing something. (Or maybe you get shot-nearly-to-death a whole lot more often than I do). Puzzled, Gräv

It occurred to me that if you wanted to make in-safe-house clinics more popular with cheapskates like me, you could have medical shortages hit the NBZ in the way that other shortages do. Should Doctor Dave's ever stop treating patients due to a lack of supplies, I would be seriously inconvenienced. They should install a revolving door in there just for me. A clinic in a safehouse that was shortage-proof sounds like a better investment to me. (But 25,000 clams still sounds like a heck of a lot of money.)

The place I would really like to install a clinic is in the Blue Ox Smuggling Tunnels.
