I saw this mentioned in a post. Though my eye only caught it, and honestly I'm not even sure who said it! But whoever did they get credit for the idea if this is actually what they were after. We can upgrade our ships. So why not upgrade our captains? You could pull some ideas right out of the Shadowrun or GURPS Cyberpunk reference books for some cool bio/cyber upgrades. It would be badass if you built in the Shadowrun essence system so we could keep turning our captain into a bigger and better uber badass.  |

Man, that would make the space under "Heal Captain" button useful and it could be the thing which would cost some M$  . |

We talked lots about this in the design councils and decided it was a feature best used in CK and ST2

PS: I love the sideways complaints about other posts, totally off topic but extremely amusing.
The doctor screen, which you are misunderstanding, does a lot more than you might think it does and includes several hidden buttons. Removing them would be selling the rest of the players -- and the people who worked on those rumor kits -- short.
But keep at it, maybe you'll wear me down (unlikely.)

I usually do not overuse smileys. When I use them, I usually mean thinks as a joke or really lough. So that was "by design" and I am happy that you like the connection.

I over-use smiley faces and tend to bounce in my chair as I write things down. Hyperactive? probably, but I'm called Tigger at work and tend to offset my colleague who by happenstance has been called Eeyore. I haven't yet found a good Pooh but we might just have a guy who would suit being Piglet. I'm not quite sure how he would take being called that though ...

I tried hitting at all the blank space under "Heal Captain" but nothing!  Am I doing it wrong? Do I need to run CyberKnights in the background? Strip naked? Pour milk on my back and collect it in a bucket as it runs through my ass-crack then drink it up while screaming "Yabbers!!!"? I'll do it, man! Just to have a captain with a single glowing red eye as he sits in a dark corner of the bridge on his command chair. ;D |
