Hi all,
I just started this awesome game a few days ago and I need help on something...
I went to Copley Square and on the map icons there is a portrait, something i didn't see that often.
It's the Yakuza Hideout and the guy there told me to go to The Under Club if I wanna meet the Boss, which I did.
The guy there, Goro Aoi, keeps on telling me: "Heh, chummer you ain't ready for the Boss. Get some street credits, yah, Creditss (?) and come back when you're someboby."
I figured I needed Max Rep for this faction which I did, plus having enuff money, I got 7000 nuyen, but it ain't enuff for him...
Do I have to get to 10k or get rid of my Heat (that is at max level)?

The guy at the under club should be concerned about Yakuza reputation.
Looks like there is a typo too. I'll check the whole thing over again, but he should sell you a pass to the the tunnel.

I've found that it works with only 1 or 2 yakuza rep, but all spending $150 gets you is entry into yakashima territory.
maybe useful if you have heat that no cabbie will touch, but otherwise its a waste when a taxi costs $25. Would prefer a contact, fixer or fence instead.

genji88 - it is what they have to offer. Many factions will offer different benefits. The Yakuza tunnel can be a very easy way to get into the inner city without burning your taxi (because a taxi driver won't pick you up until he cools down). We are working hard to add new content, fixers, contacts, sneak dealers, back rooms, and ladder connectors across the city. The benefits must be varied and tactically different. Yakuza's faction will be able to provide many other benefits as the same progresses. I have found it to be one of the best ways to get by all the walls if you don't have an available taxi (I keep my taxi to get me -out- of the city).

Also the currently universal taxi contact is about to take a serious nerf and only service the slums.
In the future these tunnels and side-transports will be more useful because Taxis will be a lot more limited.
Right now the Taxi can transit across zones and such, but soon each contact will have a specific set of zones he'll do pick ups and drop offs in.

My Heat and Reputation are at 100% and still the same...can't see the Boss.
I hope I don't have to start over cauz I'm overheated almost everywhere...my bad.

Spend a week running around hiding out in hotels and avoiding combat. All your heat will drop.
If you have large negative reputations with all the Factions well, you're character is in some trouble, but with time that too will pass. Unlike ST, CK's reputations normalize over time.
