The encounter where you find a damaged cyberloader could be changed when the safehouse workshops go into the game, with the newly added option 'let's take this one home and open it up with proper tools'. Then, of course, inside the safehouse this could be one thing you could try to do, with a much better chance of success.

That's a start, i would prefer using it to repair drones. You could then sell the salvaged drones to the gangs or keep it for yourself. Of course carrying (or dragging) a drone to your safehouse would generate a lot of heat.

I don't know, my knights regularly cruise the streets with sacks full of capture victims (it's not like I ever have to drop them off somewheres). I suppose that as long as you put boots on the end of the drone and left them sticking out of a sack, nobody would look twice at you.
