Already have a question. Does this mean we no longer automatically unlock every door and chest? Or does this mean that we have a chance not to spring a trap if we accidentally step on it? Sorry if it's an obvious question, I'm just checking before I go putting points into it now.

En1gma - Security skill provides an automatic chance to disarm a trap that you step onto (accidentally or don't see). If the trap is disarmed, it will work as if you disarmed with with a Talent (1 AP to cross vs. 2 AP for triggered traps). No effect on Doors or Chests.

v3.1.21 Steam windows 8.1 HoS default is starting in windowed mode instead of full screen so I cannot access the full screen toggle at the bottom right hand corner
because the windows toolbar is overlapping that part of the menu screen. I wasn't sure if I should report it as a bug, so thought I should ask first.

John Robinson - if the game is in windowed mode, you can grab the top bar of the window and drag it, so that you can reach the toggle. I hope that helps!

I probably shouldn't take up a bunch of space in this tread with screen snap and more details for something that might be just my setup will open a new thread in the problem/bug sub-forum. Thanks for having a look-see

John Robinson - you can also right-click the game > Properties > Set Launch Options button and type in "fullscreen" A screenshot would also help!

Quick followup on Security (I'm getting very interested). Security(16) gives 80% chance to disarm if stepped on, what would happen if she picked up a piece Equipment with additional security bonus?
I'm toying with using her to walk right into a mine field on purpose cutting a 1 MP path behind her without using the Disarm talent. Sure there is always the risk of setting one off and losing a turn but if Security is high enough she might be able to pull this off pretty well.

Ha! You'd be surprised, how well RNG works against your best expectations. 53% succhess chance? Pass. 93%? Fail. Time and again.

The security roll is made on a D100, so if you achieve over 100% on your security roll, you are immune to traps.

I wasn't sure if I should report it as a bug, so thought I should ask first. If you run one of the lower resolution options that could be the problem too. Some game prelaunch window have a similar problem where part of the window menu buttons are off the screen (Too large to fix the resolution). Briefly increase the resolution in windows (so you can reach the buttons) then bump it back down to normal once everything is set. I usually play my PC off a TV and run windows at 1280x720. I run into this problem all the time.
