I had a capture mission, finished the bodyguards and then used a blasta gun on the fugitive. Description says non lethal, but I killed them. How do you avoid killing someone if a non lethal gun kills them? Do you need to punch them or grapple them? Need a better gun? Lost 1,500 credits

djrr - To capture someone, you need to reduce them to 0 MP before you reduce them to 0 HP. This knocks any target unconscious and is considered non-lethal. Even non-lethal guns will cause some physical damage at times. If you watch the type of damage the gun is causing (MP vs HP) you should be able to get a good idea if you can take target down or if you just had one unlucky run.

Lost 1,500 credits Yeah, that's extremely rare, but it happens sometimes. It would be crazy if that happened on your first capture mission.

The taser glove that you can buy from Harken Pawn Broker in Copley Square is a more reliable (though still not flawless) way to render targets unconscious. (And it is a really great weapon, as nearly every opponent in the game has MP <= HP.) I think I have killed somebody with one twice in three years of playing 'quite a lot'.
