Just had an idea to make high security even more attractive. We already know if you step on a trap and fail the % Security roll it goes off. Here's the twist. If there are any monsters within at least 6 squares they can hear the sound the trap makes when it goes off and become alerted for a number of rounds before thinking the sound was nothing after all. When you come into range of alerted monsters you automatically lose the Stealth roll and they get the first move. Can you really expect to walk through a mine field set one off and not get noticed? Especially those new fire traps that make noise and bright light. Makes a Ghoul Lord want to smile, yes? Edit 1/24/2015 Awfully quite out here. Ok how about when you are already practically on top of them like 3 squares for 4 rounds? Ohh it was the other guy over there, wasn't me that thinks Stealth is a little too powerful when you always win the dice roll.
