I would say that the best place to soak up the lore of the Star Traders universe is the Elite editions of our games. Star Traders, Star Traders 4X, Templar Assault and Templar Battleforce all help fill in the universe's lore.
Beyond that, there are extensive forum discussions, Google documents floating around, the Star Traders 2 Kickstarter, videos and, of course, the upcoming game launch!
