Sorry for this, but i like this game and would like to continue playing! But what am i supposed to be doing? all i seem to be doing is going from town to town and doing random jobs for connectors, earning cash, and getting shot at! which is fun, dont get me wrong! but are there any objectives to complete or a story to follow. i see people talking about buying safehouses and such, how do you do that!
an when im on assisation mission there is a fugitive! if i kill him its job failed, but i cant talk to him or apprehend him? whats his deal?
Sorry for this total newbian thread, i just would like to know what the crack is!
many thanks,
One lost gamer! ;D

The game is still in BETA version, so there will be many changes in the game you actually play... About assassination missions, the goal is actually to kill the target (so I don't think that is what you're talking about) : but there are capture missions, where the goal is to reduce the target MP. (don't ask me how, I don't know... ) Finally, safehouse are hotel-like place where you can rest and upgrade your stats without paying anything. Check out the real estate agency of Old Church if you want the cheaper safehouse !

To complete capture missions, buy & equip the blue shock glove. Hence why even shooting based characters should have decent brawl stats. Safe houses can be brought from buildings in different zones, that have properties or vacations in the title.
While still in beta I think, keep looking for a contact/v chip called Texas Powers. He gives good rewards & contacts for doing work for bravestar

thelockup - currently, you're trying to survive chummer. You can find a certain number of shops that sell keys to safe houses around the city which are like suped-up hotels. Let us know if you have figured out the capture missions (which are different than assassins). The shock glove (or your normal leather glove) can do the trick, but be careful of ignoring the body-guards. Train skills, get implants, become good friends with factions. There are some powerful connectors and arms fixers out there who can become your buddies and help you reach some new heights.
