Love the change to Tam. Giving her a cursing attack such as magic resistance would make her perfect! Thank you, we do have a few more changes planned for her along those lines!

Well I got in an fought the first fight. Really loved the artwork on the Volpa. They're unique with their armor. Selen scored her first (of many hopefully) +500 crit. on one.
Finding the map was a little confusing coming from Granthorn. I had to fight all the way back through the Sea Road again, which I guess is good for experience sake. It seems like it would be better just to make a clear 3rd exit from that map rather than counting on people to try and go back to Brunehorn. Of course, if you're playing through the game in a more normal order, maybe you'll get some dialogue earlier and know that that is where you're supposed to go.
I'm looking forward to playing through the rest of these levels. It's time to go back and enlarge my map canvas.

contributor - glad you like the new monsters -- the Volpa were all done by Martin, the Wolfken are mine. You fought your way back through the Sea Road? What were you fighting? You could also take the boat.

A note/request about the new fang quest: I happened to have my main party in Granthorn when this update came out. I am still in Ep. 2 (still have to do the underforge and a few other things). I walked to the north exit from Granthorn to start exploring bone pass, when I was given an option to go to the mines. I thought: " . . . mines? I must have missed that. Okay, lets go there." Well, I jumped into the new subquest. However, I didn't get any contextual introduction to it first. My heroes acted like they knew why they were in the mines, but I didn't! Also, I am fighting level 31 enemies and my heroes are only level 24 (perhaps intended? I am on nightmare difficulty)! I decided to leave after the first fight (which was not difficult) because I thought it might get too hard given the enemy levels.
The request: perhaps make it only available in Ep. 3 somehow? Or after receiving context about it first so the introduction always makes sense.
Finally: great update as always and much appreciated!

I had cleared the Sea Road early and so it must have respawned at some point. To start the quest I took the boat from Brunehorn to Granthorn. Not knowing where the entrance would be exactly in that level I just decided to take the whole Sea Road back and had to fight up to the top of the map. I was the same level as the monsters so it wasn't that bad. I'm 4 or 5 fights into Crag's Peak now. Vincent seems to have a knack for bringing down the Gor Bulls. Love their animation.

I think you've stumbled on something else that should not be released yet.

Great decision to leave the mines! Start the quest at the Granthorn inn ... which you can only do from inside E3. Also, you'd get a lot of context if you didn't wander into this bug! Fixed for next!

so say someone were ready to take on level 31 enemies, what would be the consequences of wandering into the mines at this point...?

Well, I stayed up late and finished the quest. Really good stuff. For me the final choice was not too hard and I'm happy with the one that I made. Of course at some point I will have to try the other one. I did enjoy never having to worry about SP for Kincaid again. I won't let on any more about that yet, until more people have played it. I didn't find this quest to be exceptionally difficult, but I'm playing with my most potent group to date so it is hard to compare. They started at level 28 and the enemies were at 31 and quite easy. When we hit 29 the enemies jumped up to 33 and it took me awhile to adjust, because they suddenly became much more deadly. I actually did die once, but that was because I was leading with Vincent and unbuffed because I didn't think there were any more enemies around. So totally my fault. I'm not so careful now that these guys aren't on the NM Ironman boards anymore.

I am absolutely loving the Fang subquest. The Volpa are really well done, my favorite monsters so far. The animation is great. I love the way the Gor shake their heads to attack and the double axe attack animation is really well done. Of course, my team (Balgair's Bloody Buddies) is doing really well so that is one reason I'm enjoying the quest, but I really do love the way the Volpa look. The silver werewolf is awesome -are those icicles on his claws? I've finished the Granthorn mines, defeated the werewolf and saw Tevensa take him away. Where to now? I spoke to the smith and learned about a route Wyatt took to the surface, but I don't know how to find it. I tried going up Bone Pass, back to the mines and back to Crag Peak but there was no other route open. Do I have to do something else first?

Sweet Polly Purebred - when you talk to the smith, he shows you the path during the cut-scene. If you follow the strange little road leading south-west out of Granthorn that comes to a dead end. The smith pointed you down that path -- just go to the end of it Glad you're enjoying the Volpa and the Fang Subquest! Sounds like you'll finish just in time, as the Storm Brothers are coming out in the next update!

fallen the release lists 3 new achievements for E3 but when I sign in I'm still only seeing 16 achievements. Should the new achievements just appear along with the originals or do I need to tinker with google play settings to get at them?
