Xeno ran out of ships

The Garden in normal difficulty. Game date 11.33AE, game turn 553. 6 xenos.

I tried higher difficult settings before but get mauled too soon. Even normal is no walk in the park here, I have conflicts with 3 different groups at the same time.


There is a group of xeno to the bottom left that was attacking me for quite a while, then stop suddenly. No more skirmish or raids. They have 2 colonies 15 square away, too close for my comfort. My only guess is they run of resources to build ships or just got lazy.

Nyktos (right side) - DEAD
Zenga (bottom right) - Alive
Xytos (top - top right) - Alive
Bollish (top left) - Alive

It could be the Sidtax or Jyeeta, cannot remember but don't want to seek them out either. Most likely Sidtax unless Xytos have colonies there, hard to tell when 2 groups are using the same symbol.

It's very possible. When I played on the garden, I would attack one AI at a time very aggressively, and while they would never stop building ships, the amount of ships they had at once would decrease significantly after a while. Also keep in mind that in the garden, the xeno normally only have a few colonies near you. Many xeno colonies are to far for ships to be built and carried to you.

Xeno has a finite amount of resources just like the player. Cory Trese said so himself.

I have 36 colonies. Factions in play are: Thulun, Javat, and Cadar. During invasion I usually devastate low quality xeno worlds and grab few better quality worlds for forward operation base. My bank has 270K but has gone through couple of depression earlier on.
