Hi, everyone:
I'm in the middle of the campaign, wondering if I can hack after purchasing the data connector implant and leveling up hacking. Can I do that or only the hacker knights can?

Everybody can hack. You need a dataport and I think you need some head memory as well. (You need that for the data courier jobs, and I always
get some, so I am not sure if you need it for simple hacking.)

I was planning on becoming hacker full-on but I was wondering if I'll miss something for not being a full-fledged hacker.

You will miss absolutely nothing. Your maximum hacking skill will be 12 (all knights) instead of 16 (for hackers) but nothing in the game needs that high a skill to accomplish. Also, hackers (and Agent Exes) get cash bonuses for doing hacking jobs, which you won't be getting when you hack. But you will be getting them for assassination or capture which hackers do not get, so you might even be ahead cash-wise this way.

Hackers do get the Jam combat ability though. Very useful against Drones.

abysmal - it is a very powerful one if you can keep a Hacker alive near the drone

Squeeze him into a Kraken Armor, or (as most if us do) listen to everything the badger queen says.
...Or both.
