I'm approaching the end of the Fang quest again. The first time I did the "right" thing. With this group, I'm going to keep the artifact. I've already decided that this group will kill every god they can and any people they have the chance to too. I have to say that the morality of the fang choice is pretty clear. To not give it back is bordering on serious moral infraction, especially when you consider that T was the one who saved humanity in the first place. I'm curious to see the implications of this choice down the road. It seems that by choosing to fight the group is actually putting themselves above what is generally understood as moral. Could their be an ending where our heroes have become corrupted by the powers they wield?

Well I did it and I still feel just a little bit guilty. I have to say that the dialogue really pushes the player towards giving it back. It would be interesting in the dialogue to have it be a little bit more balanced. The only real justifications that are given for not giving it back are that in the future there may be conflict again and that the artifact will be useful to the team on their quest. It seems like more could be done with the fact that T attacked humanity, which makes her guilty. More could be done too to parrot the talk of the Druid. It's not so much that we want to keep the artifact, but that the season of the gods is coming to an end and the team is the instrument that speeds that along. T must go because she is too strong (especially with her artifact back) and she doesn't belong in the next age/season. I guess there are some tastes of that in the dialogue already. Also, I think the rewards given for doing the right thing are just as good if not better than the artifact, especially if you get drops that really match your team's build. Now that I've done both, I will probably give it back every time from here on out.
That battle was pretty good, but not too hard. I ran off the hill to the SE and made a stand there. Once I nuked T's AP she wasn't too bad. I have to say, I had my closest call yet with my NMI team. I was inattentive about keeping Kyera healed at the end of every turn and suddenly, one turn, everybody landed everything on her and brought her down to 4 HP. That was player error though. If she had been healed up, she wouldn't have gotten so close.
Any guesses on when the Storm Brothers might make it to the Mac App Store?
