There comes a point when you have maxed out your stats and no matter what class of Knight you are, you can do almost anything. You are in fact a Cyber Knight God. I think it might be cool to have some implants only for those that have reached this point. Some examples are,
A mobile phone link. To make calls from anywhere, even with the Matrix down.
A cyber loader that auto refill at the end of each round as long as you have 1 AP
A dual targeting system that allows you to hit two targets at the same time if they're within a range of 3 or less spaces.
Hyper Leg Implants that allow you to move up to 12 spaces a time.
Another way of getting these types of implants could also be they are given to you by a faction once you reach a very high Rep, like 300 or more, and you have to keep it above 300 or they'll come and take them back.
Thoughts anyone?

Would kind of break the game... Can I have them now? XD Even better, can we have enemy Cyborgs with these kinds of implants fighting us in high-risk missions in megacorp land?! *drools*

I like the idea of implants that are rep-dependant. But I think that the corps would be interested in giving implants to baby CK. The corps do not want to make independent beings with godlike powers, after all. They'd rather give you so much DV that you aren't human enough to be independent, are utterly reliant on their implants, and thus need to keep your rep with the faction increasing and increasing ...

For baby CK's I think that maybe once you reach a certain rep, like 25, they offer you some normal level implants at a discount price and then you have to to keep rep at that level and higher. As your rep goes up, more implant choices are available but you're stuck with them and tied to that corp. Trying to get them removed could also have some negative effects. Like a big -rep bonus, you can't heal as fast so your stuck at 3 HP for a few days.

Maybe u could hv implants that r attribute/skill dependant i.e. heavy cyber armor that adds ballistic and melee armor but requires a certain amount of body/dexterity/strength (implant values included) to equip so that u hv to be a high level knight with either already top notch implants and/or high exp

if we are talking about implants - I think that nano-ready armors made defensive implants almost useless. perviously +body/+def implants were always worht DV because 3 unlucky shots at corp territory could end your game even if you had 10def hard armor. now with that armors we are immortals and that implants are highly questionable. sure we can just put those implants in our CK or runners just for lolz or when we have 1,5k exp, but they dont help much at least in a matter of survivability. +4 body implants - 160k¥ chepest kraken ~ 17k if you skip negotiation or dont have face runner. agent DX even cheaper if nano ready armors cost 160k - that would change everything ------------------- ok back to topic i really like the idea of rep depended implants - especially if they would have quite big DV with unique abillities- that would be great chose for CK - to be more efective corp soldier or to exp faster? btw we still miss ladders for corps so it could be a great reward

If we get mobile phones, can we have them in our boots? Just a fun reference to all those futuristic spy movies that always had phones in the stragest of places. Or watches-- how awkward would it be to hold your wrist to your ear for a whole conversation!?

koles, God Implants as ladder rewards is one of the ways I was thinking of getting them. Even with Nano armors, defensive implants are still a good thing. I've had several knights die still because I ran out of nano med kits. Nano armor only makes you invincible as long as you can afford supplies.

The Mobile Matrix Phone thing would be very useful indeed.
