I took a safehouse guarding mission. Unfortunately, I got jumped on the way to the safehouse, and the mark died. None of the taxis noticed the death, and now I cannot use taxis any more.  |

Aha, I see now.
The mark is dead, but when he died the job did not fail. (I did get a toast 'escort job failed' but this is a bodyguard job.)
I am still supposed to take him to a safehouse. Presumably, when that succeeds or fails there, the taxis will start working again.

Ok, I rested for 12 hours, and the guarding was to be done in 10 hours. So when I left my safehouse after the rest, I got the 'job expired' toast. And taxis work now.

Ok, I rested for 12 hours, and the guarding was to be done in 10 hours. So when I left my safehouse after the rest, I got the 'job expired' toast. And taxis work now. Good to know there's a work around until a fix is in place which fails the job correctly. Was the job still in the PDA so you knew how long to wait for? |
