[Calling For] Video Producers

Are you a video professional?

We are looking for someone to help us produce a promotional video for Star Traders RPG that we can post on You-Tube and link to our Market page.

We know nothing about video production so we would need someone with experience capturing HD frames from an Android device during game play, mixing it, adding audio and other finishing touches.

Of course, we will want to pay a fair rate for this work (USD + Google Checkout.)

You'd give us the whole Google Checkout? cool, I always wanted one of those. I dabble in video editing and the like but it's (a) not very good in the bigger scheme of things and (b) I've not got anything that would let me capture video on my phone in the first place. Nonetheless, it's a good idea to create a promo trailer/video.

slayernz -- You can have Google Checkout. That software sucks. You know every time you have a credit card decline you have to e-mail the user, apologize, click like six buttons?

If you have some talents with the Video production lets chat -- even if we go with a studio we're really going to need some expert editors and feedback from people who know what's up.

When it comes to promoting your games which is what you want to do, you need to focus like a ninja on your exact target audience. I am not sure putting money into a studio for a high end video will bring conversions on its own... I would rather do the following:

- put together many small videos
- have them sent to many many video websites, linked up
- build small niche related mini-sites that have your videos in them (like squidoo lens)
- As your videos increase in publicity Youtube will raise them higher and you will in the end get more and more traffic, both directly and in-directly.

I love this one idea which is: 10 x 10 x 4 videos
10 - FAQ videos about the game/niche
10 - SAQ (should ask questions) about the game/niche
4 - hard hitting promos telling them to just get in the action already and start slaughtering steel clan and thulun already!

I love gaming and am available for some QA if you want.

I did some video editing as part of one of my high school courses. I can give something a go if you like. The only payment I would need is the knowledge that more people are blasting those De Valtos dogs out of the sky.
