In many desktop games, the hotkey is shown as an overlay on the UI persistently (DOTA2, etc).
We are starting to work on this feature for desktop, so that you could always be reminded of the hot keys and help your speed of play. I find that when I am actively using the hot keys, my speed of play is about 75% faster on desktop.
We will be adding a new hot key for the character list, so that all of the HUD items are bound to a key.
Did you know you can change Talents without canceling the old talent with a desktop hotkey?
