I went and interrogated somebody, and tried 'threaten' at least 10 times, and still couldn't break the mark. So I decided to get physical. He suffered a heart attack and died on me.
If I had had a doctor's clinic in that safehouse -- I didn't but pretend I did -- I think I should be able to restart his heart, patch him up and try again -- with a much greater chance of success.

Oooh, good one! Could there be similar results if you have a Matrix Link when we (hopefully) get interrohacking?

grävling - awesome suggestion! Are you finding that you fail Encounters on the streets of the NBZ at a 10 to 1 ratio?

grävling - awesome suggestion! Are you finding that you fail Encounters on the streets of the NBZ at a 10 to 1 ratio? not at all. interrogation seems much harder. I am much more successful at everything in Encounters, as long as it does not require electronics skill, because I am rubbish at that.

Interesting. Makes no sense, but I will look some more. Interrogation is a normal Encounter and uses the exact same difficulty scale you find on the streets of the NBZ, and has no overriding penalties.

Is there something that could be penalising small teams? At any rate there is a big difference in success rates for threaten missions and for interrogate missions. Things were also easier when my team was larger, but of course threatening is easier if you have hunds.

Threaten jobs are easier with a couple of hunds. Interrogations? Not so much. I tried to use hunds to make a mark talk and... well... they got a little carried away. Battle trained hunds sure do make a mess.
