Lately when I'm playing Templars Assault I've been having my scout stay close behind my Captain and covering him, not very original I'll admit but it works Now this got me thinking that maybe it wound be cool to have some longer range weapons. They could be class specific to the scout. It would go good with the over watch that was mentioned. If not for TA maybe TA2?

hissrad - you'll definitely see the Sniper come out as a sub-class of Scout in TA2.

hissrad depending on the mission, my captain often goes out with a Long Devastator, right beside some scouts with similar gear. I might mix it up and have capt + 2 scouts + a Neptune. It's not often that my captain wanders around with his special slashing stick. That's reserved for missions I know he'll want a lot of kills in. Usually those missions also involve me running my Berserker too

I've been thinking of trying that. The devstator pistol doesn't carry nearly enough ammo.
