Especially on large maps an AI govener to delegate management of a colony to would be great. When I'm just grabbing colonies for territory to expand green space I don't enjoy micro managing all of them.
This kind of feature makes mid to late game much more en joy able in 4X games

It would be nice, after a while if a colony annoys me enough I'll let the Xenos take it then bombard it so don't have to listen to their whining
