It just seems to me that until the gravity driver is unlocked (which is a long way away from Thulun 4) the thulun cutter is just a cruiser which cannot have a railgun.
Similarly, what is the difference between a cruiser and Battlecruiser? Can only the Battlecruiser get HK torps?

The difference between the Cruiser and Battlecruiser is huge -- one is a Heavy Reactor ship, which means different combat equations, different repair and refuel rates, higher mass, bigger crew.
Not seeing the issue with Thulun Cutter here, but I will look into it. Do you have any more details about the issue?

I see your point with the B/C, i hadnt researched it at that point...duh for me
As to the thulun cutter, is there anything different apart from it taking a grav cannon instead of a rail gun?
