Here's the challenge: complete Episode 3 with the lowest character level possible and with no deaths. Lowest score will be used for tie-breaker.
All difficulties are welcome, the challenge is balancing efficiency and survivability. Choose the side quests to get reward gear or bypass them to get the better overall score?
I've been kicking this idea around for a little bit and wanted to share it. I love the community challenges we've had but wanted to try something without completionist play.
Post your ideas for accomplishing this here and we'll see what happens. I haven't landed on my team yet but I'll post when I decide.

Very interesting, I started a group like that once and then gave up on it. I've wondered about the long term of effects of staying way below possible level. If monsters have a min level, then it could be pretty tough, if not, we could gain pretty big advantages from weapons, because their values are region specific and would thus have higher relative value against lower enemies. Score could be based off of XP and not level, that would make a tie less likely. And it could be the lowest of any team member or of the entire team. That would have some interesting implications on game-play if we try to keep one person even lower than all the others.
Now I just have to decide if I'm willing to commit the time to this.

All maps have min-max level range. So, yes, it is theoretically possible to get far below the intended map level in late game.

Alright, I'm going to run two different groups because I'm indecisive and I like to play on multiple devices. I'll probably end up liking one a lot more than the other and drop one.
First, on my phone, I'll have a classic original group VKKT. The original group is so well-rounded in terms of each member specializing that I hope they'll be able to punch above their weight.
Second, on the tablet, I'll mix in Selen and Vincent (VVKT). I want the survivability of Vraes still and Selen and Vince have some very effective level 5/6 talents that I can rush to quickly and then focus on something else (Pinning Shot and Flash Freeze).
And if no one jumps on the challenge right away, even without completionist play, I'll be at this for a while!
