Maxed out FEROCITY?? That just seems excessive

It pay up rather satiscatory. When I pumped DI over a short amount of time, mobs were going "splat!" all over. Worth nothing that they were barely the level of the party, though. (On the road to Brayes lands after clearing the Underforge.) But now… now, I'm simply in eternal love of Iceheart bow. The little boost of Intellect over last couple of levels paid VERY well to sate the hunger of Ranged Onslaught. Tamilin is deadlier than ever now.

Maxed ferocity plus a 2 hand hammer. I've always wanted to try something like this. I'm loving boost in.
Just crit for 533 at level 17 on a ratkin with just over 100hp. Oddly that was the first time I felt maxed ferocity just might be overkill at this point.

Level 10 Firebolt. Enough said. I'll think on a new group, but I'm settled on KJ with points into FB 10, then two into Ash or maybe Burning Blades. Past that, I'm not sure. FB 10 though...

This is Pure Pandemonium. I've made over a dozen different combinations so far, and I think I finally settled on a build.
Vraes with maxed Phalanx Shield, working on Crushing Blow. Hammers.
Kjartan with maxed Firebolt, working on Ash.
Fyona with maxed Shield of Cortias, working on Blessed Aura until 3-4, after her level 18 point into Reckoning.
Tamilin with maxed Deadly Intuition, level 18 point into Ranged Onslaught, then working on Blacknight.
My premise with this group is to have KJ deal massive amounts of single target damage- he just hit three times in a row and took 3 mobs off the board, insane to me as I've never really played him as PURE damage before, I've always gone the Ash route. The next step to ask this is having Tamilin do what she does best, which is crit stacking. She has 29% before we even get to RF, and between her and KJ, my ranged game is already unstoppable.
Fyona and Vraes will be in charge of dual tanking. Since we don't have any pure AP removal, their defenses must be insurmountable, and Vraes has 27 parry right now, and 85 or so armor. Fyona Wil bide her time, splitting mobs away from Vraes and the others until we get that amazing gear from the Brayes lands.
I'm gonna get back to it, FB is amazing.

That's quite an interesting composition. I've tried playing VKFT, but from the start it wasn't shining much, and I dropped the party for later.

Honestly, anrdaemon, I'm enjoying it. You would think the absence of a ranged AP curse would be an issue, but I'm leading with Fyona or Vraes, so by letting the enemy come to me, KJ is able to remove 2-3 enemies per turn. Tamilin is using a 3AP Bow to keep her minimum damage up should she miss a crit, so she can take out 1-2 per turn. Between the two, they average 3-4 kills on their opening turn by themselves, and Vraes and Fy get one apiece for now. Having KJ focus completely on removal, with Tam backing him up, their damage output is outstanding. This all being said, I'm considering restarting them. KJ and Tam are on point (surprisingly, I'm enjoying using Tamilin- shhhhhh, fallen!), but Fy and big V are seriously underpowered here. I'm not sure how better to play them here, though... It's hard to play Vraes with maxed Phalanx, if only because his other talents are so underpowered because of it... Fyona I might switch to a 2H Hammer, and just keep Vraes uber tanky. With Tam and KJ doling out so much damage, Fy and V don't have much to do anyway...

I was surprized too Seeing your earlier comments, and putting much effort into convincing you to give her a credit of doubt at least. Glad you're enjoyng her so far. And for Vraes, his tank is the strength that he puts on the table. You might try Phalanx with a spear and Ferocity (and later berserk rage), if you want more damage for your money, though. But that will be a late blooming build, considering the disadvantages of berserk.

I don't want to talk about it, and don't tell Andrew...
Once I get up in levels, KJ will just be focusing on Ash, while Vraes brings up Crushing Blow for cheap effectiveness. Ferocity is WAY too expensive on top of Phalanx 10, so that's out of the question, unless I find some hefty +SP gear. With his insane level of parry, I am free to focus on developing something resembling an offense. I'm just not too sure where to take Fyona next... On one hand I could build up Righteous Fervor, making everyone tankier, while helping to protect the two most fragile characters in the game (why I don't like using them together...) Or I can start on her offense as well, raising Reckoning and/or Zealous Strikes. Thoughts on this would be very welcome...

So, I did one without realizing I did and then I found this thread while looking for a place to ask for help.
Kincaid - all Dex, all Thrown and all Flanking Unity Kjartan - Split between Dex, Int and Con, all Conjuring and all Pureflame shield Kyera - Split between Int and Con, all Lore and all Warder's shield Selen - all Dex, all Blades, and all Quicksilver defense
Am playing on nightmare. Now at level 22 and finished the north and a bit of the south of Ep2 (vagueness to avoid spoilers) with no deaths. I need some advice now anyway. I'll post on a new thread.
