I have been playing a while, and haven't met him, or the security stakeout either. I have been playing a face and am now looking with a hunder. Is this a regular encounter in the game that is available for anybody? Or do I need to be looking in tents etc. for the hund the way you can find an ally in the Blue Ox tunnels?

Found mine in a part of the Free Streets. Died in my arms. Poor doggie.

grävling - the street hund only occurs in gang or street territory. The security stakeout only occurs in KH or BS land. I will take another look to make sure I feel like they are getting rolled enough, there are now 80+ encounters.

Has anyone who has had this encounter saved the hund, or have they all died in your arms? I'm wondering because they've died on me. Also what does it take to save it? Is it a certain stat level or purely random?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Chance - the Encounter always prints the skill save that was used and failed. I have saved a few. Electronics is key.

Thanks fallen. I'll up my electronics so when that encounter comes up again I'll have better luck healing em. I hate seeing a poor hund suffer...

Again, I would like the option of using a nano-ready medkit on the pup for a greater chance of success.

grävling - if you look above, the request has already been placed to "let me pick". So, cheapest, most expensive, middle expensive, let me pick ... I hope you'll understand that CK is 4+ years old now, and we've got to prioritize the hours we sink into the game. If you're interested in better chance of saving the target, I suggest raising the skills

I hope you'll understand that CK is 4+ years old now, and we've got to prioritize the hours we sink into the game. If you're interested in better chance of saving the target, I suggest raising the skills I would have thought that one more choice in these encounters would have been a trivial thing to add. Your suggestion to improve electronics is worthless. Maybe on easier difficulties it might work out, but I find on brutal I need at least 7 in electronics before I have a possibility of healing anybody. So even if I prioritise electronics, don't put points into any fighting or negotiating skills until I get my electronics up to 7 ... I have done this ... then I _still_ cannot get an ally until so late in my game I no longer want one. It is better to just buy one at a kennel or a VIP lounge. The 'join the loner' option is really neat in that it lets you get a runner early without cash expenditure. With maglocks out of the game, there is no way to get points of electronics by spending cash. No cyberware helps you with this. I was hoping to be able to get an edge on healing people (and now dogs) via a more expensive medkit. Right now, if adding one more choice is too difficult, I would prefer if the option of 'use your cheapest medkit' was replaced with 'use my most expensive medkit', and have the chance of success go up.

Thanks for the feedback! We'll keep trying to improve. I've added +Electronics to our long list of cyberware we might add some day.

Sorry to be snarky, and I probably should have found a more precise word than 'worthless'. CK still is my favourite game on android, and you two are still my favourite developers. But it is frustrating at times.

grävling you are a badger. An occasional flash of fangs is to be expected from time to time

But it is frustrating at times. One of my favorite games, which is why we've kept updating it every week even after four years and sunk tons of hours into rewriting multiple major systems. That said, we still have to prioritize our time. It's a labor of love, after all.
