Steam, 2.2.3
Playing Thulun, Mesa, and Rychart.
I'm just doing my thing, only 13 turns into the game. The quick select upgrades (the gold icons below the Morale count on the system overview screen) are different between all the factions.
Thulun is saying that I can build a Hab Unit, a Mine, and a Factory (which I haven't even researched yet...) Clicking on the Factory button reads 'Failed', which it should bc I don't have it.
The other two factions only give me the Mine to quick build, no option to build a Hab Unit.
I have next to no experience playing this on Steam, so I have nothing to compare it against bc my HTC doesn't have these icons. I'm assuming that they should be the same for each faction across the board...

En1gma - the buttons that appear are based on the planet and the advisor's advice for that planet. It is not based on Faction at all, but on a specific planet's needs or opportunities. We are aware that their error handling is not the best atm, but they can help facilitate faster gameplay. In the case of items that are not researched or you cannot afford, you'll get Failed or Insufficient Fund displays.

Thanks for the clarification, I was assuming that they should be the same for each, not that they were recommendations from the advisor. Still getting used to Steam

fallen been meaning to ask this for awhile. I noticed with the "quick upgrade" buttons that they also auto subsidize if you have the credits. Is this intended behavior? Because of this I often go the long way to new project to avoid subsidizing
