Since we have ST4X(a empire building game set in the Star Trader verse), maybe something similar set in the world of Steel would be interesting. Settling your on town, defending it from ratkin, orcin, other humans. Random events like wandering hero's, orcin/ratkin raids, cultist trying infiltrate and subvert your villagers...

Could be a really fun game. I know fallen has proposed a similar design for a future game.

So many games, so little time.
Sometimes I wish that you were a huge games studio, able to churn out many of these great ideas. And then I torp myself for being an idiot. I would risk losing all the stuff that I like about TB. The personal connection. The quality, constantly updated games. This great community.
And potentially risk having a boat-load of freemium, consumable-IAP ridden junk that isn't worth the Holocube its written on.
I think it definitely helps that the bean-counters are the ones making and playing the games.
Sentimental moment over, I am off to hunt Xeno. TORPS AWAY!

If you ever make it. I suggest the ability to play AS the Orcs.

A human Baron, a ratkin shaman or an Orcin Chieftain. It'd be a cool way to see the world of steel from a different perspective.

I am pretty sure if Andrew and I were able to grow to bigger game studio, we could keep making quality games. If we were huge, and released a game a month, it would be hard to keep up quality. But I think on a more moderate scale, we could do it. A few additional programmers to help, a couple of extra artists. We'd make them join the forum too

I don't want you to release a game a month. Even if you kept the quality up. I'd either miss out on some of your games... or not get to play them fully. Once every 3 months would be nice.

Every 3 months would require more hands, for certain. I know with the forum and a few more people, we could more quickly turn some of these shelved game designs into reality.
I'll keep my fingers crossed that TA2 is a huge hit!

Cory Trese- I'd be happy to help write games, stories, anything you need, you know where to find me My brother keeps trying to get me to write a game with him. Back in primary school we used to write games together for the Spectrum (and BBC Micro)... we actually made some pretty good games (I may be biased, but I thought they were better than the commercially available games for the Spectrum at the time), especially since we were preteens at the time. (Games were simpler then... but so were the tools). Problem is... after coding all day long, last thing in the world I want to do is code when I get home. I've started a few times... but I don't have the desire, motivation, or dedication anymore. TB are unlikely to see competition from the "soup" brothers anytime soon... lol. Takes a lot of time, dedication, and motivation to do what they do. I'm impressed that such a small squad stick by their products (especially older ones) and continually improve them. All developers would rather be working on new stuff than fixing old code. It is very impressive to see people enthusiastically fixing older games as well as writing new ones. TB are very unique. Its rare you see a small indie developer with such a vibrant online community, and it's because of their desire to make games that people will enjoy and keep playing. (Other devs just want to sell... regardless of how much the end user enjoys the product).

Thanks for heaping on the praise. We hope we are special enough to be able to keep doing what were doing. Thanks to all of our supporters and especially our Patreons.
