That's my first post, so please be gentle
I really love this game. (I mean...really it creates with less graphics much more atmosphere than the "shadowrun returns" games!)
My english is not the best so forgive the mistakes.
I don't want you to missunderstand that.
With boss battles i don't mean new artwork and a whole storyline around it. (That would be great but i think that it's a bit too much ) What i'm thinking about is following:
You work for a fraction and if you have massive rep you can get a single mission (which you can only play once in case of sucsess of that mission)from the connector of this fraction to eliminate a special target from the oppositie fraction (a leader or something like that). Like a normal assassination mission but with an extremely strong target with lots of bodyguards(something really challenging...the player should be warned when he accept the mission). And if the player is able to eliminate the target he gets some special reward like lots of cash or/and random items from enemys fraction(maybe one or two normal chests which have to be hacked).in addition to that the dead target causes some of the normal/existing troubles in his fraction like increased prices(with the background that the fraction has to reorganize itself). And of course there should be a massive increase of rep in players fraction and a massive decrease in the enemy fraction. After the mission the game goes on normal. The player should be able to get one of this mission per fraction(if the rep is high enough)
I read lots of comments in play store and that could be something for the players who are a bit confused about the sandbox aspect of the game. There would be something more to reach in working for your favourite fraction. A goal but without changing anything on the sandbox aspect.
And it's all based on things which are already implemented in the game(most of differences are values and some text lines in mission description) but i'm not in the position to assess this development part.
