It's a compromise as it is. We did it both ways during the alpha, but didn't like the look with CP added. Good time to revisit.
Not going to log a bug for it just yet -- have to collect some more feedback here and come up with afix.
Maybe reduce "Research" to "RP" and add "CP" or just replace RP with CP? Hmmm. Great post!

Umm, you know? I think you are right. It is not factories, it is amount of CP generated that is actually missing. So, right, it can certainly be abbreviated.
