It is to the point that I think using a full search is completely broken. The last 20 or so times over the last 5+ updates I have yet to have a full search go my way.
What is the percentage for success when using 'Full Search', and is it high enough to make it worth bothering with?

En1gma, what's the amount of points in Scanners for the ship doing the exploring? I saw a tip that it improves odds, and it seems to feel that way since I've applied it.

Basic Templar Explorer. I never make a replacement unless it dies... It should still be able to handle a full search, IMO.

With the Templar Explorer, Full Search will yield a very bad result 30% of the time.
With the Templar Explorer, Risk More will yield a bad result result 30% of the time.
It is possible that you could roll 5 in a roll on a 30% dice.

It's been more like 20+ fails on the higher risks in a row. I don't even bother trying anymore, because there is no reward for me, just a wasted anomaly. Well... Perhaps when you unlock the research that gives you 'Explore', it could differentiate itself from Explore 1 (or the basic version...) Unless this is a sensor issue. If so, could you mention what Sensors do when in ship creator? Going back to Sensors, if I may, Cory Trese- Sensors seem to be the most enigmatic out of all possible things to put points into. Sensors seem to have many roles, most of which are not explained whatsoever (if it's included in the library forgive me), so any explanation you could give the player would be crazy useful...

So in the crew upgrades when it lists EVA is that a +die to exploration?

Templar Explorer intended to explore the first few anomalies, not be your only ship for it. =) Intended may be, but with current exploration mechanics there's no incentive to build a second ship for it.
