Grenades are one of the Captain's starting Talents, and both the Berserk and Soldier professions can buy similar Talents.

There are both high explosive (high penetration) grenades as well as concussion (debuffing) grenades.

That's correct -- as in ST RPG and TA, Warrior is melee prowess.
