It's looking very polished for the Alpha - things have progressed heaps and heaps since the initial days of the CK Alpha Do we have a wish-list sub-forum? For the action icons on the right-hand side, I think I would like some tool tips or something to explain what the icon does. Actually, a long-press would be great, as then you could have a ton of additional information showing such as: Name of skill/ability Number of AP the action consumes Amount of heat it produces Damage range etc Yeah you get this if you press "Info", but the long-press is one less UI interaction -

For Wish List:
AP/MP is so tiny, if it could be made larger it would really be helpful.
If you don't want a long press, perhaps the HoS style of talent info could be implemented: Press again on selected talent for info.

We tried the double click but it was really annoying, endlessly getting the detail box when you don't want it. Long-press and right click aren't in the alpha yet, unfortunately those didn't make the schedule for phase 1.

I agree, its similar enough to HoS that I think much of he interactive elements could carry over.

Some of them, certainly. Re-writing it was a big benefit, it might have some similar patterns but is a very different beast to the new user and from a code perspective.
I like them both, HoS and BF have slightly different use cases (as talent, battle and rhythm are different) but the do share some common ancestral elements.
The feedback is great. The priorities I think we need to focus on are:
- The the most common task the easiest - Provide the information the player needs - Make the player's secondary needs intuitive first, and fast second

Mouse-hover and long press will help simplify this.
We are working on making the Name and AP cost of the Talent visible in the HUD whenever it is selected, along with icons for its special rules (Cannot be Used if Overheated, Ends Turn)

I like both Mouse over & long press. I haven't played a lot of TA so the more info I can get the better The game is looking fantastic and I like the info & story being told to me by the character, I talk to.
