When tapping the northwest node, game says the node isn't powered, while everything indicates it should be. Things worked normally up to this point Edit: on the very first node I directed power to north, and when that line blew up I took a break. When I came back game loaded from the start of that turn when the line hadn't been blown yet, so I just redirected it straight east, if that makes any difference. This was a retry run after captain death

I was able to use the NW (top-left) node. From the screenshot it looks like you're at the NE (top-right) node? Or do I have my cardinal directions messed up again? If that node itself thinks it is the NW node then it's correct because there is no power there.

It's the north east node. So I take it the Nw node is the intended solve?

Ah northeast one yes, I have to stop daydreaming about Neptune autocannons while writing. Yeah northwest worked and I finished the level. I guess northeast is missing a dialogue about the node or something

NE is an intended route to victory. Sounds like a bug and added to our list. warhog - if you leave the game without ending the turn, that turn is reverted -- just like in Heroes of Steel or 4X.

So it's the same route every time? I was hoping you generated the route randomly every time the scenario started, so it would be a little more interesting if one plays it again.

There are multiple correct ways, and multiple incorrect ways. We felt the Tutorial was best served with a puzzle that isn't different every retry -- but we do have the option to build levels that way. They're just harder IMO.

Actually, even as is, we are unlikely to use this level as level 3 of the tutorial because it is long and difficult.

Yeah, I just ran into this on my game in hard as well. Same exact power node layout as warhog too, it seems. Maaaaaaaaan the third mission is tough. I've blown up 3 different nodes and had 2 scouts and my veteran Engineer kick the bucket, haha. I think you had better consider saving the mission as a final tutorial mission, fallen, or at least maybe consider knocking it down to a 2x3 or 3x2 node chain. 3x3 requires a lot of backtracking if, like me, you get unlucky. I'm lucky in the sense that I've played a lot of TA and kind of sort of know what I'm doing but a new player could get a little frustrated, haha.

Yeah 2nd time through on hard 39 turns 90 kills...I think the 25 turn par is only possible if you already know the solution and make no mistakes

I did it in 28 turns on hard, knowing the pattern, and I thought I really kept things moving along pretty well. To shave off 3 turns I would basically have to keep my engineer moving every turn, or possibly recruit a second one but I don't know how I would be able to keep him protected too.

contributor - nice hit on the turn goal! I think 25 might be a little insane lol.
