Link between CK and STRPG

I was wondering if it was possible to progressively create some sort of "link" between CyberKnight story and Star Trader...

Not only references (like there already are), but there for instance... (this is a completly random idea, so do not take it too seriously ! ) ... there could be an old geezer/drug addict/"prophet" shouting around in the NBZ about the upcoming age of fire and void vessels, of the near end of the Earth, or trying to get people into his Shalun Sect (which would, little by little, become like we know it in ST?).

A strange idea indeed, & you may already have thought about that !

There are some jokes / Easter eggs links planned (Narvidium Bone Lacing, for example) however because we have serious plans for both worlds they're going to remain conceptually separated so that we can retain creative freedom in both universes without worrying about connections.

I like the idea about the prophet, but the long answer goes to consistency and content development. I hope to someday have the time and resources to use the full scope of the "Star's Edge" world in a Star Traders RPG game (4x, ST RPG II, etc) as well as the new world we're crafting daily in Cyber Knights.

Trying to keep them internally consistent will be a lot harder for me if we set the precedent that they're the same timeline. Yah know?

my apologies taatu, it looked like you were being mean. your words seemed angry. my response was a joke and also a suggestion.
when i said blunt had two meanings, it does. in english, when you are being blunt, it means that you are saying what you are thinking, without caring if you hurt people's feelings.
the other meaning of blunt is a cigar filled with marijuana.
i said that when you are being blunt, you can hurt people's feelings, but when you smoke a blunt, everyone will smile.
thats one thing about the english language that usually makes it so hard for others to learn. one word can have multiple meanings, and that makes some things very hard to understand. especially humor.
my intent was not to be mean, but to point out that it helps to ask nicely, and not criticize for no reason.
but since taatu is not a native english speaker, i can understand that he probably did not mean for what he said to be taken as angry or unfeeling.

--btw my lqnguagr too has some words that are said the same but mean different things.(and they didnt came from gang slang("blunt" did sound like that but its maybe not who knows))

no, i understand, dont worry.
if you want, it helps to use the smileys etc. that way you can always show what your mood is.
trust me, language can be hard to master.
i had a friend in school named Thi Nguyen, and he was a cool kid. his sister was really shy, but she always worked really hard, and was extremely nice. one day, a real jerk told her that i hated her. It really hurt her feelings.
she had a hard time understanding english. both her and her brother were from vietnam.
i asked Thi how to tell her that "she was very nice, and i was happy that she was my friend."
I told her what Thi had instructed me to say, and as soon as i did, her eyes got really wide, he face turned red and she looked very embarassed.
Thi was behind me, laughing.
apparently i said part of it wrong. just because i pronounced the part that meant that she was nice, and forgot to say the punctuation. (a lot of asian languages need you to say "period" "question mark" or the like.) so when you put the whole sentence together, i told her that she had a nice butt and i wanted her to be with me.
it took quite some explaining for me to get out of that one.

and in ck in some computer there would read something like "free SoS inside!"or something.
