So when you have a game with multiple enemies....do they fight each other as well as you ... or are they united against you?
my next game will be a map other than the tutorial map...I was thinking of a larger map... Then add additional enemies...

phollyer - they contend for territory but do not actually fight each other.

In a way they are united against you, not formally according to the game designers. Once you get into the complicated maps (especially The Garden), have a swarm of ships from 2 xeno groups happen and truly nasty to deal with. Part of the fun is fight them off. The other part is finding out where they are coming from.

You can also use strategies to see saw them against each other, or to stack their aggression by triggering multiple wars once one goes naturally aggressive. This will get them to synchronize, the opposite is true if you need to see saw.

Cory Trese this makes me wonder do the Xenos have a trade language that they can talk to each other with? <hey I'll take that one, you get the other> and <humans are tasty; you should try some>
