In one of my last games I found that there were cells around enemy planets I could NOT fly a ship...I could not click on them as destinations...and ships would detour around...as if they are planets...but in all cases they were adjacent to planets...taking up one of the prized refueling spots...even when I conquered the planets the cells were unuable...
is this a bug?

phollyer - it does sound like a bug. Can you provide info about the version of your game (main menu) and your device and OS version?

So I have tracked into the game files...
Documents and Settings\Administrator\Local Setting\Application Data\FactionWars
Since I only have 3 games on this machine...it should be game2... Game_2.db Game_2_region_1.fog

Does it go away when you quit to the menu?

It seems as though a ghost has returned from the Alpha, Cory.

For completeness sake, I noticed the same behavior a week or so ago. It too went away after restarting game.

Yeah, and this one impacts all versions on all OS. It appears to be some type of bug in the underlying engine. I'm working with them to see if we can figure it out.

Question to those experiencing the bug: Was there a ship destroyed on the said squares at any point?

Question to those experiencing the bug: Was there a ship destroyed on the said squares at any point? Like a self destructed ship? or a dead Xeno? I think the issue is related to Xeno ships that leave behind their movement blocking data but are removed themselves. that's my current guess.

For me this happened on squares adjacent to xeno colonies. Unrelated to destroyed xeno ships. Seems to match admin's description.

A quick answer is I don't know if a xeno ship was killed there...maybe.
I am in another game...and will pay close attention to the where they die... and will check the cells I kill ships in to see if they are usable...

In current game all killed xeno squares are all still usable (but then I've only killed about 6-8 of them)
