Looking at the gear on the equipment screen it costs (?) 40 SP to equip the extra accuracy kit for the captain. Where do these SP come from?
SP are accumulated from TP, but are they preserved between levels? If so, where can you see the total?
Can you bring SP forward into new levels (like having a bank account!) as this will certainly offset the cost of deploying experienced troopers?
A related question...... playing level 4 my engineer can restart the first TP after the Xeno have shut it down. Is this because it is a captured TP or can the engineer restart any TP after it has been shut down?

1) Those SP are charged when you deploy your Templar.
2) SP are reset between each level.
3) You cannot carry SP between levels.
4) The Engineer can use Capture on any uncontrolled Tactical Point. The Engineer can also use Capture to remove Xeno control from a Tactical Point.

Thanks, that makes sense. Looking ahead, if the deployment cost is increased based on equipment load out then it will potentially take longer to be reinforced by 'elites' because it takes more turns to accumulate enough SP. If that is the case, could it be possible to show SP deployment cost on the equipment screen? This would then let you estimate how many turns it would take to save up for reinforcement with a particular equipment load out.

The total SP cost for each Templar is listed as well.

Ha ha apologies! The total SP cost is listed so obviously I managed to miss it twice! Not only is it listed against each Templar in the Veterans squad list, it is at the bottom of the stats page as well! Stand ready for the next obvious question ☺

Stand ready for the next obvious question ☺ The next phase will make sure that ever gear and thing that goes into the SP cost is listed. Teach Templar type has a base SP cost, and each Templar level they get increases the SP cost. Gear will commonly increase deploy cost. Weapons and Armor will only rarely increase deploy cost. You never pay deployment cost for the Captain / Corporal for that level.
