Yeah, I don't generally want to take back the OW, I just want to put it in a better place. Well, if I had meant to move the soldier, I might want to take it back, but if I can at least move the OW, it's not as much of a disaster. But when you accidentally set the OW where you meant to move, it's usually the absolutely wrong place, given where your soldier is stuck. Being able to put it somewhere a little more useful would at least reduce the pain.

Thanks Cory Trese that was exactly the reason I started this thread in the first place (maybe I wasn't clear enough...)

I like the ability to change the location of the OW, gotten used to just tapping close to where I need, then tapping to try out different locations until I find what I want.
Is there a reason why when pulling out veterans (from tactic points), that the newly created veteran is not automatically selected? I've mis-moved the previously used characters several times, even on the same level when pulling out multiple veterans. Grrr. :-)
Is there any interest in an undo button? After above said kind of errors, or an errant move in general, undo would be handy. I've seen other games (Warhammer 40k Armageddon) have an undo capability as long as nothing new was revealed/shot at.
Scenario Picker, or at least an option start on a particular mission level. I know I've finished a level, moved on, and later really, REALLY wanted to try that previous level. Being able to at least start on a particular mission (with average req points) would get me close enough (ex. option to start after the initial deploy). Again Warhammer Armageddon does this well. Many people use the scenario picker to "try" a level, then continue in the campaign game. The flexibility to respec Templars would be a great way to try things out too on a scenario, then use it on your campaign.
More branch offs within missions. Different types of scenarios to ultimately complete a particular mission. a)Integrating humans on a long march from the countryside, b)invading an alien ship which rams into the palace area, or c)drop ship into the capital area could be 3 scenarios that would increase replay value. Same thing as Ferarei Lance Mission. Of course you would love to have the ability to jump to those missions via a scenario picker to try out the different ones!
Just finished my first playthrough on normal (thanks to ntsheep). Wonderful game! These are just ideas for improving, please don't interperet them as game negatives.

One little niggle regarding OW that I find is sometimes I want to slap it right on top of a Xeno which works when first engaging OW but if I move it around and then decide "naaaah, right on top of that Xeno was good" It is no longer possible. (I think this is the same when slapping on top of a friendly aswell). No major issue, but slightly inconsistant.
