Firstly, I want to say this game is ace, and I'm getting very excited from hearing about some of the upcoming features.
Three things I'd like to mention:
1) Navigation. Personally, and this may be down to my cheapo Android phone, or my haphazard swiping skills, often when I mean to press a location for my ship to go to, it gives me a summary of the position (i.e. Ari Prime, [Urban Area] etc etc) would it be possible for this to be separated, perhaps by a "scan" button or something so that a player could switch to that mode and tap planets to find out what faction they are with without accidentally travelling there.
Also, sometimes the auto navigation will go a little awry, for example I can be sat to the north west point of a star and tap the south side of the star, which results in the ship going to the north of the star, then the west, and then the south, which is an extra AU than if it had gone straight to the west and then the south (hope that makes sense, I think I confused myself)
2) Upgrades. Love upgrades, I would like it if you could change an upgrade, for example you might get a Headsail, and then later change it for Nano-Solar Sail Coating. I'm happy to accept that both upgrades would be full price, it's just I don't like getting an okay upgrade if I know that the really good one won't be available later.
3) Ships Log. This is a fantastic feature which I really really love, I just wondered if there was any thought being given to increasing the variety of entries, for example when you capture a ship I presume the data record / code states "Today on this fine day we have captured a new ship. In combat aboard the (old ship) we defeated the (new ship), a beautiful craft which is now ours by Shalun Law or Piracy, I care not which." so you get the same entry every time you capture a new ship. If it made it easier I'd be happy to write some different log entries for the game so that the game could choose at random when an event happens which entry to use.
