How are XP and RP awarded at the end of a level? Is it a flat rate for completion or are they calculated based on performance factors such as kills, number of turns taken, number of Templar deployed etc?

Set per level, with bonuses that will be calculated for:
- Speed of Turns - Lack of Casualties - Lower Deploy Numbers

One other quick question, does the amount of XP awarded to the individual Templars vary at all or is it a flat X/Y = Individual XP (where X = total XP and Y = number of Templars)?

To be clear, in Phase 1 - it is a flat XP / RP value.

I kinda like the flat XP. Prevents the uneven leveling that happens in HOS. On the other hand from an RPG standpoint it feels like he who gets the most kills should get some extra credit. hmmm...

It actually creates a huge amount of uneven leveling. For example my current squad: Level 9 x1 Level 7 x4 Level 6 x1 Level 4 x3 Level 3 x2

The flat lvling prevents recruits from catching up unless you run a bunch of recruits while giving old vets the day off?

The flat lvling prevents recruits from catching up unless you run a bunch of recruits while giving old vets the day off? The game automatically deploys your most experience troops for the requirements. You are encouraged to do the same, putting an empasis on tiers of Templars. You have your squad that fights when there are no TP -- the 4 Knight core. You have your 6 Knight squad for when you have a 1 TP map. You have a larger, but less experienced, 9 Knight squad for 2 TP maps. You'll have the option to deploy a full Battleforce (15 Knights) with 4 TP maps. If you deploy small units, they'll be more balanced, but you'll have fewer troops.

Cory Trese am I right in assuming the 4tp maps will be fairly large?

Cory Trese am I right in assuming the 4tp maps will be fairly large? Probably the largest -- the turns just take a long time to do, and it risks dragging. I don't think we'll make many levels that require you to capture 4TP, but there will be levels where you can.

Cory Trese will we be able to select which troops we want to deploy at the start of the level? Or is the initial deployment always going to be automatic and we then select reinforcements as needed up to the Cap?

Initial deployment is always going to be automatic, based on XP and the level designer's choice of starting Templar types.
