Playing as Xenos

 I don't know if this has been suggested before, but why not give us the ability to play as an alien commander/ruler/hivemindintelligencething? It could really change up the game and give us some insight into Xenoform society.
 I'm guessing if it were implemented the player would control only one Xeno faction and would need to stay out of other alien territory, so would need to colonize aggressively to not only block out the Templar led factions, but also secure territory from other Xeno factions.

I meant to suggest it as an expansion to ST4X rather than a new game, but I'd buy it either way.

Speaking of new games, when are you doing Heroes of Steel Song?

I second this idea. I like to see how the xeno can spawn ships like that and have 20 population in a 2 quality system.
