Cory Trese, fallen Besides an uneven colony count are there specific stats that make solar wars more likely to happen and if so what? In the community game I've gotten back to back to back Solar wars between ALta Mesa and Zenrin. Is there a cannon of them not liking each other? Is it just a set of bad rolls? The game is on hard and the colony count # of systems is balanced exactly between all 3 factions. Any insight would be much appreciated.

The Alta Mesa are jealous of our War Barge would be my guess. Its not their fault, it is a badass ship:)
Seriously though, I've been having problems with the two. Spy battle after solar war and they'll even keep it up during Xenos attack!

Does one of them have almost three times the TP of the other? The biggest probable causes are ... bad dice, unbalanced colonies, unbalanced TP, unbalanced Morale.

The TP between alta mesa and zenrin looks roughly the same maybe a little bit more to zenrin do to quality rolls allowing a lot of mine 3's but only 10-15% more. Moklumune has more TP then all the others. But its alta and zenrin slugging it out.

ntsheep, if only she hadn't been the vice chancelor's daughter and you hadn't taken her out of the system it probably would have been fine. Based upon Cory's post, I guess my Javat colonies better develop some TP and NOT depend solely on mining for income.

I think I have deduced the problem. All the Zenrin are fed up of viewing our superior vessels from the cramped spaces of their cumbersome barges that they hired a bunch of 'Independent' star traders to repeatedly blockade our colonies. In other news, my little bro has lost his first captain to. Bounty hunters. Yes, I may have told him to start on challenging  Still, he had a lot of fun and on his new game on normal found a 'Paladin Liner' for only 167k. Anyone else seen these? Amazing value... I was thankfully flying a tooled up custom ship with the 160 cargo and crew achievements (phew), so thankfully still have bragging rights. Even if my ship cost over 800k |

Boy, that escalated quickly...My mistake ntsheep units of measurement are so easy to misunderstand these days 5 earth years vs 5 Pluto years...math was never my strong suit. Anyways I'm sure something else is bugging them. 1 solar war over an alleged kidnapping I could understand, but 3....nah there's gotta be something else. |
