Do you have any ideas for ways to do level bonuses?
We have turns to complete -- and possibly if the player hits that then we give an additional bonus for Kills per Turn.
What am I missing? What other ways could we slice this up and hand out bonus XP or RP?

Here are a few I can think of for bonuses. They might also make good Achievements. Even Stephen: All Templars killed the same number of Xenos. It's quite in here: There are no Xenos left alive. Check those corners: Reveal whole level map. P.S. please pay no attention to the fact that the first bonus and I share the same name

Cool Runner: no overheating on level (keep your gear in shape, Templar!)
Superman: take no damage
Fisticuffs: only use melee on level
Marksman: only used ranged weapons on level
Lean Squad: use X (maybe 4) or less squad members to complete level
Could also be achievements...

I second bonuses for no casualties and lower number of Templars deployed. While individual Templars are certainly willing to fight and die if needed, a good commander should avoid letting them die, and even avoid risking them if it can be avoided while still accomplishing the mission.

Die and be dishonered : kill X (a huge amount) of Xenos.

Yeah, a "clean run" bonus is a good idea, allowing extra XP or RP for no lost Templars.
It might be interesting to actually think about including some secondary, optional objectives into the missions. Things like: Primary Objective: Secure the area surrounding the xeno breach in our hull. Secondary Objective: Reroute power to the automated defenses in order to reactivate them or Primary Objective: Establish a foothold in the xeno cruiser by capturing two tact points. Secondary Objective: Disable the cruiser's engines by having your engineer sever coolant lines.
