Captain name change happens level 4

Was it just me or did our illustrious captain suddenly take on a different name?
In levels 1 - 3, captain Alaman was in charge
In level 4, it is captain Neque.

Now I could understand it if you were saying you're controlling a different squad on the ship, but then the portrait and the attributes/skills are all the same as Alaman! We have a twin!!

there is an automatic rename that occurs at level 4, it is a hold over from previous generation.
